Movie of the week: The Dark Knight Rises.
Acting
Tom Hardy-no doubt Heath Ledger as "joker" is at par but Tom hardy as "bane" is also very good. he is a monster. his eyes are like shark tooth, and speaks terror.
Christian Bale-yet again a splendid performance by him. superb in his batman outfit. perfect physique for the role. and most convincing act out of the trilogy.
Gary oldman-he stands as if he does not fear death. he loves gotham and yes "he was on his own." perfect casted as Gordan.
Michael cane- alfred loves Bruce and he is the emotional quotient of the movie. superbly acted.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt- only one word for him. he is a surprise package especially at the end.
Anne hathway- was not been seen much on screen but she is good as catwoman
Marion cotillard- after such an awsome performance in "inception", she yet gives a good performance in not so long role of "miranda"
Morgan freeman-"the acting school himself" chooses the words in a neat way that each compilation of words flaws as a powerful and memorable dialogue in the movie.
Cinematography- Seems like Christopher Nolan has great bonding with Wally Pfister. all his Oscar nomination is for the movies directed by Nolan. tremendous job done for inception won him Oscar and yet again Wally Pfister delivers classic work for the movie.
Music- Hans zimmer proves that a normal scene can be enhanced by superb music and does the same for this super hero action flick. "DESHI BASARA" is something that only he can think.
Screenplay- the Nolan brothers exactly knows what they want on screen.
Direction- with not so crazy camera work, Christopher Nolan exactly knows what the scene demands. the moving cameras, larger than life sets, THE BAT, opening plane sequence, the blast in the city, and shaping the character of Bane, finest action and one scene showing Liam Nisson on screen, superb climax are the reasons took him to the path of $170 Million start in the opening weekend.
